Format: Virtual / Online Symposium
The Stem Cell Society Singapore (SCSS) is pleased to announce that our 12th Annual Symposium will be jointly organized with the Japanese Society for Regenerative Medicine (JSRM). We cordially invite you to participate in this year’s Symposium that will be held from 9-11 December 2020. This year's symposium will be held in a virtual format due to the existing social distancing and travel restrictions locally, regionally, and world-wide.
The symposium as in year’s past will bring together local and international thought leaders and stakeholders who share a common interest in both the fundamental properties of stem cells and their applications to model and treat human disease. In developing this year’s program, the Society intends to play its part in showcasing the accelerating, exciting and often interdisciplinary research in stem cells and cell therapy currently being carried out by our Society members as well as other local and global experts.
Although the virtual format limits in-person interactions, the online format on the other hand provides great and novel opportunities for interactive networking, to reach out to new communities, to present content which would be difficult to integrate into a sit-in symposium, and to have access to the content for extended periods of time after the core symposium.
