Research Interests :
Our previous data has demonstrated that a clinically compliant and identical hESC-MSC population can be reproducibly generated and their secretion can reduce myocardial infarct size. Furthermore, we've recently also detected that hESC-MSCs can produce cardio-protective exosomes, and these exosomal microvesicles' immunological characteristics and whether a novel mechanism by which MSCs regulate immunity is exosome-dependent, therefore, all require further clarification. So our primary research interests are to investigate immunological properties of MSC-derived Exosome and especially its application in myocardial ischemia / reperfusion injury and some immune-associated diseases.
